Sodium HEDP is an organophosphonic acid scale and corrosion inhibitor with the following chemical properties and application areas:
Chemical Properties:
1. Stability: HEDPNa can still effectively play the role of scale and corrosion inhibitor at high temperature (250℃), remain stable in high pH environment, not easy to be hydrolyzed, and not easy to be decomposed under general light and heat conditions.
2. Acid and alkali resistance: Compared with other organic phosphonic acid (salt), HEDP Na shows better resistance to acid and alkali and chlorine oxidation.
3. chelating ability: it can form stable complexes with iron, copper, zinc and other metal ions, and can dissolve the oxides on the metal surface.
4. Scale inhibition effect: it can form hexacyclic chelates with metal ions in water, especially calcium ions, thus it has better scale inhibition effect and obvious solubility limitation effect.
5. Synergistic effect: when used in combination with other water treatment agents, it can show ideal synergistic effect.
Application fields:
